Committees
Membership & Services Committee: Responsible for all aspects of membership recruitment and retention issues including membership benefits and incentives.  Will help maintain and update Leadership Handbook and help guide staff to programs that help local chapters.

Production & Marketing Committee: Responsible for issues and policy related to production and marketing.  Includes educating producers and promoting existing marketing programs – GA Beef Expo, Bull Tests, HERD program, Beef Challenge, and annual Convention.

Youth Advisory Committee: GCA members responsible for providing support, council, and stability to GJCA in their program, structure and activities.

By-Laws Committee: Annually reviews, seeks input from members and recommends any necessary changes to GCA governance structure and/or policy and procedures.

Legislative Committee: Responsible for legislative, regulatory, and judicial issues related to the beef cattle industry.  Shall be primarily responsible for representing GCA interests on the state and national level.  Shall, at least annually, review and seek membership input into GCA Policy document.

Awards Committee: Responsible for reviewing award and scholarship applications and selecting recipients of any said awards that are subjective in nature (not based on membership #s or performance i.e., Beef Industry Scholarship Challenge).   Excludes Hall of Fame nominees which are sent directly to GCA Executive Committee.

Convention/Summer Conference Committee: Chaired by President Elect and responsible for planning and execution of annual GCA Convention & Summer Conference.

Cattle Health & Well-Being Committee: Responsible for providing direction on animal health challenges that face the cattle industry in Georgia.  This committee will work with Georgia Beef Board to support Beef Quality Assurance programming in Georgia.   Committee will provide input and leadership, in cooperation with the Legislative Committee, on issues such as national animal traceability, bio-security, and animal activism.

Media and Communications Committee: Responsible for magazine, web, and other GCA communication.  Work with other committee’s in developing effective communication tools.

Tour Committee: Responsible for organizing an annual cattle industry focused tour for GCA members. Tours will seek to be educational, entertaining, affordable, and original.

Beef Expo Chairman: The Beef Expo Chairman is appointed by the GCA President to oversee the Expo operations yearly. The chairman will be a member of the Convention Committee.

PAC Committee: Responsible for organizing PAC fundraisers and making PAC contributions.
